This does not exempt certain competent authorities in member states from issuing additional requirements beyond those mentioned in the Gulf standards /technical regulations. However, if the goods/products are intended for markets outside the Gulf market in countries that are not members of GSO, priority in applying the standards shall be given to the standards of those countries.
